Christmas Cards

Just wanted to share a few Christmas cards I made using Cuttlebug die ornament.  This ornament is from a cut/emboss combo set. I'm not too keen on the embossed part of this set which says For You. I can't seem to get the embossed part lined up perfectly on the cut part. So I have just cut mine out of various pattern paper and stamped sentiment on them. On the last card I added glitter and stick on rhinestones.
Thanks for looking.

Embossed Card

Couple of cards using Hero Arts Poppy stamp and heat embossing. On the first card I used digi paper in the background before stamping and heat embossing it. Then I distress inked the card. Of course the embossed areas resist the ink. I quite like the way it looks. On the second card I used pattern paper and then embossed the card.
Jennifer McGuire has some great videos on heat embossing in her blog. Check out her blog HERE

Doily Project

A while ago I saw this great doily project on Christine Middelcamps blog and I just knew I had to try and make one. You can check out Christines fab blog Here .
Unlike Christine who used 16 doilies I went for only 9. I also saw this project on Wendys  fab blog as well and you can check out her improvised version Here, she did only 9 and that seemed an easier number to start with.
I have mainly used October Afternoon paper, MSE butterfly stamps, Melissa Frances Rub ons, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Types and some October Afternoon stickers.
Sorry about the bad pic, lighting not so good. I took some pics yesterday, but my other memory card packed a sad and I can't access anything on the card.

I have a few offerings for Moxie Fab Shabby and Vintage challenge. You can find the challenge over at Moxie Fab here.
First card is my attempt at shabby. Paper is from my fave October Afternoon and flower cut with Tim Holtz die.
Second card I quite liked it fairly plain and I'm not sure if I like the snowflakes on the card.
Paper from Cosmo Crickets Jolly By Golly collection.
Vintage image from the net.
Third card Image from the net, paper Ruby Rock It.
I added some stickles to birds nest which made it look even more icy. Love a bit of glitter on cards.
