Embossed Butterfly Card

Here is this weekends card. I have used a Stamp It butterfly stamp which I have embossed with sparkly gold embossing powder. Main background is stamped and brushed with perfect pearls, I have also used distress inks in the butterfly image background. Some grungeboard, a few stick on pearls and ribbon.

Birthday Card

I made this card for my nephew who is turning 16. I'm not sure if I should have put the 16 on the card or not. I have to admit I struggle to make cards for boys/men. I also wanted to leave all sentiments off the front and just have them on the inside of the card. I have used Basic Grey paper as always, some grungeboard stars which I have inked and added some perfect pearls to.

I have used Basic Grey paper, Stamp It stamp, Enthaily roses and a bit of grungeboard from the Tim Holtz grungeboard packaging. I still need to add a sentiment to it but I have omitted that til I know which part of the world I'm sending the card to and which language I need to use. The image has been embossed with sparkly gold embossing powder.

Another Whiff Of Joy card

Here is another Whiff Of Joy card. Really out doing myself this week with 3 cards. But I'm so excited about getting Copic markers that I had to do some colouring. I got 12, which were a belated b-day present. I'm not really sure these kind of images are me though..Now I know why people rave on about copic markers. They are fantastic!! I also used my tombow and Stampin Up ink to colour the image.
I used Basic Grey paper which I really love, stamps are Hero Arts, Stempelglede and Whiff Of Joy of course. Swirl is quickutz. I have also used perfect pearls and liquid pearls but the sheen is not coming thru very well in photo. Must learn to take better photos of my cards.

Here is another xmas card I made using sketch from Ett Trykk. Basic Grey paper, snowflakes are cuttlebug dies which I painted with liquid pearls and inked. Tag has been made using Cosmo Cricket paper and little snowman also cut out of same paper. Fiskars punch used for border.
Happy Holidays is from Inkadinkado stamp set.

Ett Trykk Challenge

This my entry for Ett Trykk August Challenge.

I have used an image found on the net for my tag and I also used Basic Grey paper, a grungeboard key which has been inked and stickled. Paper border has been done with Fiskars punch. And then a few flowers, roses from Prima and Entlily.

Another card using Bizzy Becs sketch

Ok so this is another card I made using sketch from Bizzy Becs. I should have waited til morning to take photo as lighting in my craft room is not so good. I have used Basic Grey paper and some grungeboard which has been inked. Stamp is from Stamp It. I sponged on distress inks on the background of the stamped image. Stick on pearls are from Kaisercraft. Flowers have been inked and I also added some liquid pearls to them.

This my entry.
I have used Daisy D's paper, Kaisercraft stamps in the background. The snowman I'm not sure what brand it is. Snowflakes & stars are cuttlebug dies which I painted with liquid pearls and inked with distress ink. The snowman has been coloured in with distress inks and some distress stickles added. Lighting in my craft room is not so good as you can see.
I had so much fun doing this sketch that I used it for another card which you can take a look at in another post.

Stamp Something Challenge

Here is my entry for Stamp Something challenge. Theme being Bugs, Butterflies and other winged somethings.

I used a Stamp It stamp. Embossed image with sparkly gold embossing powder which unfortunetly doesn't show up well in photo. I also added a butterfly charm.

Anniversary Card & a few xmas cards

Couple of christmas cards. I used Daisy D's paper for these. Snowflakes were cut out with my cuttlebug , painted and finished with some stickles. Stamps are from MSE, Hero Arts and Kaisercraft.

50th Anniversary card. I've used K & Co paper, some grungeboard painted with gold acrylic paint. Text is just printed with my computer.

3 Lil cards..

I just love Basic Grey papers. I got the 6x6 wisteria collection which I have used on 2 of the cards here. I also got the Marrakesh and I just sat there for the longest time looking at the papers not really wanting to use them because they are so beautiful. A bit weird huh..Though I'm sure I am not alone in doing that..

Finally I decided to use some of the new Whiff Of Joy stamps. Background paper is wisteria collection by Basic Grey. I also used my Stempelglede stamps on this..

God Jul/Merry Christmas

Ok, it's nowhere near xmas but I thought I'd get started early on my xmas cards as I am always late with mine and here is one of them. I have been doing a bit of shopping lately and am no longer Miss limited supply well less limited. I bought myself a cuttlebug which was on special at a local shop and some stamps, inks and a few embellishments.
So on my card I've used some grungeboard painted with crackle paint. This one will be going to Sweden hence the swedish on the card. I also cut out some snowflakes with my cuttlebug and painted them and added some stickles to them.
